Whispers of the wind ch. 6

It was already early in the morning dawn, Tera had brought

Bird to an old abandoned church.

She was laying in his arms, with poison all over her body.

"Can you hear me?" He asked as he was holding Bird in his arms,

she barely opened her eyes when Tera touched her face.

"You...Y-ou a-re.." She muttered with foggy eyes,

she couldn't really tell who he was, he didn't have the mask on. His eyes were glowing red.

"I'm going to help you, it's going to hurt for awhile." Tera said with a calm tone before he piereced her skin with his teeth.

Bird groaned, she was in great pain as the poison had spread all

over her body and made her weak. She felt Tera's fangs in her neck, he was trying to get the poison out

and slowly the marks on Birds body disappeared and her pulse got stronger,

as Tera stopped, he took a look at her, she had now fallen asleep because of what he did.

Slowly his eyes stopped glowing and he just kept looking at Bird

Her cheeks were red and warm as he touched her face. "I am sorry." he said while he caressed her face gazing at her.

"You're safe now."

It started to rain again in the morning,

Bird was still sleeping and Tera sat beside the bed checking upon her every once in awhile.

He did not wake her, he just waited...

Until it was late in the afternoon and the rain stopped.

When Bird finally woke up, she had quite a headache and she felt a bit dizzy.

"uhmmm.." she mumbled as she got up from the bed still feeling a bit dizzy.

"You are finally awake. How are you feeling?"

Bird was surprised as she heard Tera's voice and saw him before her eyes, but not like before. This time he was not wearing the mask.

"You...." Bird stuttered. "You a-re.....?"

Bird was shook looking at him, she had not seen him before like this. His gray hair was open and she could really see his face without the mask. He looked different. He looked so...

"Beautiful" Bird gasped, she noticed that he had a bat shaped tattoo on his left cheek.

"Actually, my real name is Tera...Terabithia." He noted as he turned his face towards her.

"T-tera?"

Bird stuttered. Even his name was beautiful and unique.

"Yes, my lady."Tera answered as

they gazed each other intensely and Bird's heart started fluttering again.

And he could hear it too.
