Whispers of the wind ch. 7

Bird's heart was loud as she kept gazing at Tera who looked really picture beautiful. Those dark eyes and his facial features had really left her speechless.

She had never thought that he would look like that.

She just kept staring at him until Tera broke the eye contact and

he turned his head away.

"How are you feeling?" He asked timidly

"Why did you save me?" Bird asked without answering him.

"I ran away, you should take me back or kill me." Bird noted

when then Tera turned his face back towards her.

"No."

"I would never do that." he answered with a serious tone.

"Why you..saved me?" Bird asked again.

"Because I promised to protect you."

"And I wanted to help you." he continued

"Help? You...You knew I was going to escape? Then why you didn't stop me?"

Bird asked. Well of course he knew.

"I couldn't." He said.

"I couldn't let you suffer there any longer."

Later, Bird was in the bathroom,

She had just took a bath and she kept thinking about Tera and all that had happened.

His face, his eyes, the tone of his voice, his words.

"Because I promised to protect you."

She was not sure what he meant by it, but it must've been his promise to Kaius. She really couldn't make sense of it. She had known him for the past years and only recently she somehow felt closer to him. &She had always felt safe around him. A weird feeling.

All that time Tera kept standing outside the bathroom silently until Bird came out.

She knew already Kaius must have been after them.

"What is going to happen now?"

"Kaius must be after us already." she continued as Tera turned to face her.

"They won't find us so easily, we are far away from them." Tera said.

"For how long?" Bird asked. Her face did not have any expression. Of course by the time she had spent in the cage with him, she already knew Kaius, he was not going to let her go like that.

"I... Guess not long." Bird noted when Tera didn't say anything.

"Well, if that is the case then..." she continued

and undressed her gown right infront of him.

But he turned his face away.

"I know this body must not look beautiful." Bird mentioned.

"I mean I've never felt like it was. "

she continued and her voice was a bit shaky, Tera looked at her again.

Bird had no right to her own body, it all belonged to that monster who had used her how he wanted.

It made her feel disgusted.

"You also must think that it's not beautiful, right?" Bird asked as tear rolled on her cheek.

Tera didn't say anything, but he just took a step closer to Bird, staring at her eyes.

And even though he didn't say anything. It still felt like he did.

Like he understood her, it was that feeling again. That feeling Bird could not explain.

It was more than a feeling.

And in spur of a moment, Bird followed her desire and pushed Tera against the wall, taking him by a surprise.

"I want you to kiss me." she said with a softly demanding tone.

"huh?"

"Kiss me."

Bird continued and then she put her lips against Tera for the second time.

& Tera soon responded to her kiss, closing his eyes,

touching her soft skin...
