Whispers of the wind ch. 3

"Oh, Bird, you really are getting more and more interesting to watch every day."

Horos noted as he stood behind Bird who felt his stare behind her.

"You know, if my brother had not taken you already, you'd be mine. Though I've always been interested in sharing." Horos continued.

"Oh that scent, maybe I should have a bite of you, we can keep it as a secret

right Bird? Our own little secret..." he suggested and Bird felt uncomfortable.

Horos was also scary, he was cruel and was capable of many things. Bird did not

usually meet him because Kaius had his rules, but Horos didn't really care about

those rules. They were meant for breaking.

"Look at that round a** of yours, now turn around will you so I can see your front too.."

Horos continued and Bird felt very uncomfortable. "Come on now, don't be shy." Horos continued

and just as Bird was going to move she heard Horos voice once again

"What do you think you're doing?"

He asked as Tera blocked his view, standing right before him.

"I did not ask for you." Horos continued.

"You should not be here, sir. Please leave." Tera answered.

and as Bird heard his voice, she was surprised, he was right behind her. And even though he was always the quiet one, yet in that moment, those few words gave her a little comfort.

"Why would I listen to you? You know you are supposed listen to me, now get out of the way!"

Horos grunted.

"I am sorry sir, but I can't do that. I serve sir Kaius and I'm sure you know his orders when it comes to lady Bird."

Tera continued calmly as Horos looked at him a bit irritated and scoffed because he surely knew that too.

"You surely are obedient.." He scoffed.

"Whatever, I guess I can have my fun with someone else."

Horos noted before he vanished.

Later Bird was in her room and she kept thinking what had happened and how Tera had

defended her. He seemed to talk, only when it was necessary for him. As he followed Kaius'

orders. It was his job.

"You let my brother come here?"

"I am sorry sir, he just appeared."

"And what did he do?"

"He seemed to be interested in lady Bird, sir. He didn't stay long."

"Have I not told you to keep him away from here?"

"I am sorry, sir. My Mistake."

"Where is she?"

Kaius went upstairs where Bird was taking a shower and he stayed there for awhile.

Kaius had forbidden Tera to go there so he just stood downstairs, waiting for it to be over.

In the evening, Bird came downstairs in her nightgown and she walked to the window,

looking outside as Kaius words from earlier came to her mind.

"You should remember that you are mine." He said as he touched her face with his

big claws.

"Every part of you belongs to me and I will never let you go, dear Birdy."

he talked in a such serious tone and he had such an intense gaze.

He knew as well as she that he could've killed her in any minute, but he didn't do it.

Even though Bird sometimes even wished he would have.

She just kept staring outside

as tears streamed down on her cheek and she heard footsteps approaching as Tera

walked towards her, not saying a word.

"I wonder what it's like out there." Bird said as she turned around looking

at Tera with an empty gaze.

"I've wondered for some time now, what it's like out there." Bird continued as tears kept falling on her cheeks.

"What it would be like, to go outside and never come back?" Bird continued.

She could not hold back her ermotions and hid her face behind her hand while Tera just stood there looking at her silently.

" This place,,these walls....I..I just..." Bird weeped softly.

"I hate them."

And she suddenly felt dizzy and fainted, she was about to fall when Tera grabbed her in his arms.

"My lady..."

"My lady." Tera continued, but he didn't get an answer.

And so Tera just held her in his arms for a moment, looking at her.
