Whispers of the wind ch. 28

Bird was at home, enjoying her morning coffee,

it had been weeks since she had heard of Dorian,

after she told him to stay away, he had not contacted her, yet

she was still wondering how he was doing..

She really didn't want to hurt him, but

she felt like she did...

But she also had other things she should've thought about,

she was working on project, where

she was supposed to do the makeup of two models,

Chi & Kaz, but unfortunately Kaz called in sick just before

the shooting was supposed to begin. Bird had messaged Yaz because

she knew a lot of people,

"This is not going to be enough, we need a fill in, right now."

Christina who was in charge of the project said.

B="Well, there is no one.."

C="You'll have to come up with something."

B="Well, umm...I'm sorry, I don't have anyone in mind.."

C="Well, this is not possible with just one model standing there..Figure something out, or we'll cancel this..."

"No need to cancel, I brought someone.." Yaz noted

and as Bird turned around she was surprised to see...

Dorian....With Yaz.

"Yaz.." Christina said

Y="I brought my brother, Dorian.."

D="Hey.."

C="Your brother? Not a professional?"

"Nope, but it'll work I'm sure, I'll get him ready in no time, I think Bird doesn't have enough time now & I'm quick.."

Yaz said with confidence while Bird was looking at Dorian

"Well I guess we don't have any other option then, go ahead.."

Christina said while Bird kept looking at Dorian,

He didn't meet her eyes, it must have been because

of what had happened.

After that evening, they had not seen or talked,

Bird thought about it as they were shooting,

and as Dorian was being photographed with Chisiya,

it was really true,

they both looked amazing, even Christina couldn't deny it

as she was amazed when she saw the two standing together.

yaz did a great job, she also had a great eye, of course she knew that her brother was a model material,

so that's why she had a smirk on her face while looking at them,

Dorian did everything for Yaz it seemed.

Also Bird found herself taking glances at Dorian all the time,

she couldn't help it. Was it because of Yaz? Or did he do all this to help Bird?

EARLIER IN THE DAY:

The shooting took 2-3 hours to be completely over and

when it ended it was already evening.

C="Hey, great job today makeup artist."

B="You too, thank you for today,"

"Anything for you dear." Chi said before he left

But Bird still stayed for awhile, actually, she

was waiting for Dorian

who soon came downstair after changing his clothes

"Ohh, Dorian.." Bird said as she saw him. He didn't say anything,

just looked at her.

"I..Just, wanted to thank you...for today, for...

Coming here.." Bird said

"No problem really.." Dorian said and

then there was a silence again,

that made Bird feel awkward, she noticed that Dorian

avoided looking at her.

"I.." she started when Yaz appeared

"Here you are! I was looking for you, great job today lil brother, I honestly

think that you could be a real model."

D="Haha, thanks Yaz.."

Y="How are you feeling, no fever?"

D="I'm fine.."

"A-a-are you sick?" Bird walked closer to Dorian

"You shouldn't be here if you're sick.."

Y="Don't worry Birdy, it was just a slight cold, otherwise I wouldn't have asked him."

"But... you shouldn't have come here, if you're sick, it could get worse.."

Bird kept worrying while Dorian just looked at her silently.

Bird didn't understand why would he do that in that condition,

and she kept thinking about him all the time while she was

at home,

she felt restless wondering how was he?

Dorian's fever was rising again, actually, he had felt better for a few days already,

but maybe today's shooting was too much for him after all.

He was laying in his bed asleep shivering,

& he didn't really notice Bird who

had come to his place to check that he was okay,

she touched his head and it was burning hot..

"Dorian, can you hear me?" she asked silently.

"Why would you lie? You're not fine at all." she noted & continued to stay with him even though he didn't really know she was there.
