Whispers of the wind ch. 13

"It's quite beautiful over here to be honest." Neri said to Bird as she noticed her.

B="You..are.."

N="I guess we didn't really get to introduce ourselves last night,

I'm Neri..And you must be the woman Tera risked his life for.."

B= "Huhh? I don't understand.."

"Of course you don't understand. I guess there's a lot humans like you who don't understand."

Neri said then as she turned her face towards Bird.

"Your life has been quite peaceful here it seems,

&if you want to keep it that way,

it's better you stay away from Tera..He has done enough for you already.." Neri said with a quite demanding voice

Bird knew she was right as a tear fell down on her cheek.

B="I am so-rry, I don't want any harm to him, how could I..."

"Good, then continue your life here as it is and forget about the night before,

it's better that way." Neri said

and she left soon after but Bird just kept

standing there for awhile, her hear felt heavy.

Rajiv also had been keeping himself busy with training all day,

but as the evening came the thoughts about Bird crying in the street distracted

his mind again,

somehow seeing her like that made him feel upset and also annoyed

and he didn't like that about himself.

He sighed when suddenly someone put arms around him and he knew it instantly.

It was her.

"You.." He sighed as he leaned towards her for a bit before

turning around,

facing her, she had taken almost all of her clothes off, wearing only her underwear

"So now you've decided to come here again.." he said while they were

gazing each other

"And you won't talk as usual..That's just how

this goes, I guess..." he continued

as Bird put her arms around his neck

and kissed him as she wanted to forget everything for awhile

& Rajiv felt

the same, for different reasons...

While at the same time,

Tera was standing outside of Bird's house when nobody was home...

The next day, as Bird was getting ready to go to work, she kept thinking of what had happened recently.

T="You don't have to understand, just listen to me."

N="I guess there's a lot humans like you who don't understand."

N="Your life has been quite peaceful here it seems, &if you want to keep it that way,

it's better you stay away from Tera."

Yes.

It probably was better that way. Bird needed to accept that. There was nothing

she could do even if she wanted to.

Even though she wanted to understand, she couldn't.

After all, she still didn't know anything about her past prior meeting Kaius, and she

didn't know was he the reason she didn't remember anything,

questions she didn't have

an answer to, it wasn't easy to accept that, but she had to live with that, at least for now.

But by her surprise,

when Bird went outside,

Tera was standing there, like he had been waiting for her

just when she had thought she had to go on without ever seeing him again.

There he was and she didn't know what to say at first.

"Wh-y..Why are you here? " Bird asked as she walked closer to Tera

B="I thought, you would not want to see me again.."

"I'm here just in case you're in danger.." Tera answered then

B= "Huhh?.. D-danger? What do you mean?"

T= "Kaius is still out there and he's looking for you.."

B= "Huh? How do you know?? Do-es he know where I am..."

T= "Not yet, he doesn't. But he probably will come here too and this means, it's not you but also others here that migh face danger.."

hearing that made Bird really worried,

she didn't notice Rajiv who was watching them from afar

he was standing there for some time

before he turned around and walked away.

B= "Others? You me-an.. the people here?"

T= "Yes."

B= "Please, tell me what to do so nothing happens to them.."

T= "The only way would be to leave this place."

B= "Huhh?? Leave???"

.

"Yes."

The next weekend was Kaur's 31st birthday,

& she had invited her friends over,

also Bird was invited with Naomi.

Rajiv & Enzo performed outside, they

had matching outfits and all.

& while others were watching their show

Bird's mind wandered to Tera's word and

she couldn't help herself, she felt concerned but she didn't know what

to do.

She was supposed to leave? It made her feel uneasy, somehow,

as she kept looking at Rajiv & Enzo. All of the people she knew there

were going to be in danger because of her? She didn't want anyone to get hurt because of her. None of them deserved that.

But knowing that Kaius was still out there, Bird had a

bad feeling about it all.

She knew what he was capable of after all.

& she was scared of what would be ahead,

a lot of thoughts were

running in her head, but when she looked at Rajiv, for

awhile, she forgot about her worries.

Rajiv was really an outstanding perfomer, he was meant for the stage, he looked really natural and

without much effort made the audience really engage in his performance. Even

Bird was smiling while looking at him.

and Kaur made a notice of that.

The boys owned the stage for some time. & After the performance, everyone was applauding them for how great they were.

"You never really disappoint."

"That was awesome."

"Great performance R & E, can we get some more out of you?"

"Hahaha, well I don't know about Enzo but I think I need a break for awhile." Rajiv answered with a smile.

"Me too honestly." Enzo noted.

"But I know someone who's also good in performing, in a different way, maybe we could

listen to her?"

Rajiv continued as he looked at Bird who knew he meant her

R="I'd like that very much."

And so soon

Bird played the violin,

even though it was the first time she played infront of so many people

everyone just looked at her silently amazed by her skills,

even Camila had to admit, Bird played beautifully even though Camila had not thought that she had a talent like that.

the tune she played touched the heartstrings and it was filled with longing that could not be

explained with words.

It was like Bird was pouring her heart into the melody

and maybe she did.

"Oh wow, it was amazing!

Naomi was thrilled after Bird's performance

"Really beautiful, thank you Bird." Kaur said.

N= "I didn't know you could play so beautifully! Since when you've played?"

"Umm, well quite long time already, but I don't play much..." Bird answered

"Uh, don't be so timid, you obviously are really talented, it didn't seem to take much effort from you to play like that. " Kira, one of Kaur's friends said

"umm, well...." Bird didn't know what to say

"It's true." Rajiv said then softly

"You are natural talent Bird. Thank you for touching our hearts."

he continued as Bird turned to look at his smiling face.

His smile,

the more she looked at it,

it made her heart flutter and that's

why she seemed a bit flustered, as she kept looking at him, she worried even more...

Later in the night, they went to a club in the city near by,

Kaur was outside, smoking a cigarette, when a creature with red glowing eyes, came close by

a vampire....

Sul sul! Happy new year. Past month flew by so fast, I only now got the time to update the story because of a lot things happening in the real life. But ofc wotw is always somewhere in the back of my mind, updating the story with the editing honestly just eats so much time. LOL.
