Whispers of the wind ch. 33

1,5 years later...

'

Bird was home doing some yoga in the morning, it was her usual

routine before work.

She graduated 6 months ago and was working at Sephora

where she had had intership while studying.

Lately she had had headaches and was quite tired even though she slept the same

as usual in the night.

It was wednesday, there wasn't much customers and it felt like the clock wasn't moving at all.

After work, as Bird got home, she ate dinner and made coffee because

she felt really tired,

she sighed heavily.

"What's the matter?"

Bird heard Dorian's voice and she immediately turned around

and saw him standing there.

B="Huhh, D-orian? Wh-y are you here,

it isn't friday yet, right?"

"No..But I got to leave earlier this week, why? You're not happy to see me?"

Dorian smiled, of course he was joking.

Bird just ran into his arms hugging him tightly.

D="Is everything alright?"

"Yes." Bird answered and Dorian

kissed her cheek.

D="Are you sure?"

"Yes. Everything is fine now." Bird answered before she kissed Dorian.

Dorian was currently in military training, so he spent a lot of time at the base that was located two hours away from their home. Sometimes he was away weeks, or even months and the only way they could be in touch was by phone and naturally Bird was feeling quite lonely when he was away.

Now it had been almost 4 weeks the last he had been at home, but..Bird did not complain about it, cause it was important to him, it was something he wanted to do. Bird just tried to

enjoy the moments while he was with her.

They spent the night together.

"I missed you so much, you know that right?

Dorian said while he gently held

Bird's cheek

"right?" Dorian asked poking Bird's nose

gently with his while she was just looking at him.

D="I love you so much."

"Then kiss me, more." Bird said and she pushed her lips against his..

and they continued

until the end..

B="You're out of breath."

"And whose fault is that?" Dorian asked

while panting.

B="I like it. It's really sexy."

"You're the one that's sexy, the reason I become this way."

Dorian answered while Bird smiled.

"I've got you completely in the palm of my hand, I like it." Bird continued and she was right. Dorian worshipped her and Bird enjoyed that. She was completely the center of his world, he would have done anything for her, and it felt nice.

The next morning as Bird woke up,

she felt nauseous and had to throw up.

She had had that dream again..

she could hear his voice again, so clearly. It broke her heart.

Dorian was already awake, as usual.

And Bird soon ran towards him, hugging him tightly

D="Well, good morning."

"Is everything alright? Did you have a bad dream?" Dorian asked.

"Just, stay like this, for awhile."

Bird answered while she weeped silently.

& soon Dorian turned around to hug her back.

It made her feel comforted.

Dorian didn't really demand answers from her and that's why it felt good being with him. He was so patient and understanding. He had been willing to wait for her until she was ready to talk about her past and he had never judged her for it. And even now, even though he knew that she cried because of someone else, he comforted her without asking anything in return.

In the evening they visited Yaz and her boyfriend Roy

in their new penthouse,

"Well hello, finally they arrive."

Yaz said as she had already asked them to visit before.

B="Hey."

"It's been too long without seeing you honey,

how have you been?" Yaz said as she hugged Bird.

"Good, I'm good, and you?"

Bird answered.

Y="Well now that I see you, I feel great."

The aparment was really huge, beautifully deocrated,

the colors were really pretty, Yaz's style.

Y="So what do you say?"

B="It's really pretty."

Y="Yes it is right, I've done some deocrating and painted

the walls a bit.."

Y="this is the guest room, if you ever want to stay for a night

you can come here, whenever you want."

B="Oh, I think it would be nice sometime.."

Y="I know you've had a bit hard time because Dorian is away from home a lot,

so if you ever need me you know you can come here."

"Thank you Yaz, you're really a good fr... Bird started when she suddenly felt like throwing up

and she couldn't really talk anymore.

Yaz was surprised as well...

Y="W-w-what's wrong?"

Ebi was outisde throwing the basket ball when

he heard Dorian's voice;

"I assumed you would be here."

he said and Ebi could see him standing behind of him.

E="Well, where else, it's good to see you man.."

D="So how's life?"

E= "The same old really, I'm more curious about your life, since I never see you anymore.."

D="You know in the military it's pretty hectic."

E="I know man, it must be hard."

D="I think I can manage that. Being away for so long, that's the hard part."

E="I guess, but Bird seems to be taking it quite well."

D="Yeah, but I really feel bad leaving her alone.."

E="Would you quit if she asked you to?"

D="What question is that?"

E="Just a question.."

D="You sure have funny questions, you know it's been my dream

for years now and now I've reached it,

at least partly.."

E="So it's a no?"

D="If she asked me that,

I don't know.."

E="Of course she won't ask you that,

but I know the answer already,

Because I've known you for many years

I also know that she's the only woman

in your life and you got to marry the woman

of your dreams, lucky you.."

D="Oh, so what is it?"

E="You would quit if she asked you to."

D="Hahaha, I guess so..."

E="You're a fool.."

D="Maybe I am, I know she doesn't love me as much as I love

her but it's okay, I'm just happy she's by my side

after everything she has been through, I just want to make her happy."

E="Actually, you're a great guy."

D="I'm just a normal guy in love."

E="You selfless bastard."

Bird was at the bathroom

& Yaz came there too after knocking the door

"What was that? Did you throw up?"

B="I umm, a little.. I've been feeling a little nauseous.."

Y="For how long?"

B="Just a few d-days, it's nothing..."

Y="Are you late?"

B="Huhh?"

Y="From your period?"
